There are great country dance halls and honky-tonks across the country and around the world. Country dancers, both line dancers and Two Steppers love to find that great hardwood hallowed hall to meet up with friends and listen to some great music and of course, get out on the floor and dance!
On this website, there are many pages of information about where to go to find a good spot depending on where you are. On this page, I’ve gathered a summary of every spot mentioned in my blog to give a quick reference guide for the best country bars for dancing in the United States.
I have gathered together, dance halls in the USA from 10 states. The highest number for one state is 22 in Texas. I will be adding to the list over time and welcome your ideas. Where is your favorite dance spot? Is it a traditional country bar, dance hall, saloon, or even a dance studio? Also, you can visit a great website that has an interactive map created by Fred Leong from Maryland. You’ll find it to be an invaluable new resource for finding great places to dance. It is just one feature of his dancing website: Dance Factorial! For the map, he has been diligently gathering peoples’ favorite places for Country Dance and Line Dance from the Facebook group Line Dancers on Facebook which Helen Cammarata administers. This is the largest line dance Facebook group and is a great place to see what people are doing in the line dance community.
